Workout of the Day For time, break it up any way you like: 75 pull ups 75 thrusters 75 over the bar burpees This is one of the best WODs ever, don't miss it!   There is no mobility this week.  A regular class will run at 19.15 on Thursday in it's place.  Mobility has been postponed until a later date. Workout of the Day A. 3 rounds for quality 5-10 TTB 5-10 HSPU B. 3 rounds for time: 20 unbroken wallballs 20 kb swings   Tonight is the last olympic lifting class until the end of the CommonWealth Games.  This class takes place of the 19.15 WOD and lasts the whole hour.  It is taught by Colette Will, a weightlifter of over 6 years and fully qualified coach/competitor of Team Cavanagh.  This class is for people of all ability and experience levels and costs just £3.

Workout of the Day emom 15mins power snatch snatch balance OHS   There is no mobility tonight, a WOD will run in it's place. This weekend is the Fundamentals, this is the last chance to get friends and family who are currently not a member of CFG involved for the month of July so if you know anyone who wants to join have them get in touch with us soon! Workout of the Day   15 rounds for time: deadlift power clean hang power clean jerk   Tonight there is no 19.15 class.  Olympic lifting will take it's place.  This class will cost £3 per person and lasts an hour.  You do not need to be a member of the gym to attend nor do you need to be an elite lifter to benefit from this class. WOD Monday 7th July ’14

In groups: Max reps at each station of: thrusters 40/25 kb swings burpee box jumps 24/20" kcal row The time you have at each station is determined by the time it takes the 5th group/person to complete 2 laps of the block. Rest 1min between stations. Record total reps/kcals achieved on each round. You get one chance to score as highly as possible at each station. This week we have Olympic Lifting on Tuesday night at 19.15.  this class is open to everyone which means you do not need to be a member of CrossFit Glasgow in order to attend. This weekend is the Fundamentals.  If you have any friends that are hoping to join CFG then they must either attend a Fundies weekend or work one-to-one with a coach so if you know anyone that's interested then now is the perfect time to get them booked in! CFG will be hosting a CrossFit Strongman seminar with Rob Orlando in August.  This is one of the best CF seminars and will teach you how to loft all the strongman equipment we keep at CrossFit Glasgow.  Rob is a competitive strongman himself and the course is geared towards members as well as coaches.  You do not need to have completed your CrossFit Level 1 to attend nor do you need to be 'strong' as you will be taught everything from a weight that is suitable for you and learn how to progress from there.  Get involved as it won't be back [...]
