Reebok CrossFit Games 2014 Opens

By |2014-02-28T01:26:11+00:00February 28th, 2014|WOD|

Today heralds in another bright dawn in the history of CFG and of Scottish CrossFit: CrossFit Glasgow are 3 athletes shy of beating last year's winning total and look set to top the European roster table for a second year; while our friends at CrossFit East Kilbride are blazing their own trail into 3rd place. It's not over yet though so lets keep the heat on and make sure that no man or woman is left behind. Throughout the years that we have been involved in CrossFit there have been a great many things to be proud of; but the support of our community and the amazing people that built it with us has always been the thing that has made us great. On behalf of all of the staff at CFG I'd like to thank you all for your continued support and wish you the very best of luck with the Open this year. To all of the other Scottish and UK boxes we wish every success and look forward to building a legacy of community and sportsmanship over the coming years. WOD 14.1 Repeat of 11.1 AMRAP 10 30x DUs 15x Power Snatch @35/25kg Let's get it then

WOD Thurs 26th February “Open Eve”

By |2014-02-26T23:39:29+00:00February 26th, 2014|WOD|

On the Eve of the biggest event on the calendar for CrossFit Glasgow, we are poised to take the double and make CFG Europe's largest team for the second year in a row. We know that some of you aren't convinced yet, but I assure you that when the walls are shaking with the voices of two hundred fellow athletes; as the air crackles with the electrifying prospect of Scotland's first Regionals team and as your lungs heave in the quiet aftermath of your best effort, you will know that it was all worthwhile. You will be among the first to register next year as we emulate Rich Froning Jr himself on our shock and awe campaign for the "threepeat" and the memories of this great event will be burned into you forever. We cannot thank enough those who have already committed to the team and we urge those among you who are still sat on the fence to throw caution to the wind and dare to dream of something bigger. We are CFG and we are ready. WOD 1RM Clean and Jerk
